Quenlin Blackwell is 25 years old as of November 1, 2026. She was born on January 17, 2001, and turns 26 on January 17, 2027. Known online as Quen, she is an American comedian, creator and model. She started out as a young teenager making physical comedy on Vine, then built large audiences on YouTube and TikTok. As AfroTech reported in October 2025, she has walked in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. She also appeared as herself in HBO’s I Love LA (2025).
Her first name is Quenlin, and “Quen” is the short form she uses publicly. Wikipedia lists her full name as Quenlin Riquera Blackwell.
When is Quenlin Blackwell’s birthday?
Quenlin Blackwell’s birthday is January 17. Dazed’s September 13, 2023 profile gives her birth date as January 17, 2001, and calls her “the 22-year-old.”
That makes her a Capricorn, which she has confirmed herself. In a conversation with Rachel Sennott dated January 14, 2025, and published by Interview in February 2025, Blackwell said her birthday was “In four days” and added, “I’m a Capricorn.” That timing matches a mid-January birthday.
Why some websites list a different age
A page that says she’s 24 was most likely published in 2025, before her 25th birthday. Magazine and news coverage has tracked her age year by year, and each figure matches a January 2001 birth date:
| Outlet | Published | Age reported |
|---|---|---|
| Entertainment Tonight | October 26, 2020 | 19 |
| Dazed | September 13, 2023 | 22 |
| Paper | August 11, 2025 | 24 |
| Complex | August 27, 2025 | 24 |
| AfroTech | October 17, 2025 | 24 |
Each age is correct for someone born on January 17, 2001, on the date the article ran. Read together, the reports place her birth between late October 2000 and early August 2001. Her own comment about a mid-January birthday narrows that to January 2001. Some biography sites list birth years such as 1997 or 1999, but none of the dated coverage supports them.
How old was she when she started posting?
Blackwell started posting online as a child. “I’ve had a YouTube channel since I was 8,” she told Interview in the January 14, 2025 conversation.
Vine is where she first found a wide audience. She told Paper in August 2025, “When I was doing Vine, I was 14 or 15.” Other profiles put her start a little earlier, with Dazed saying 13 and Complex 14. She grew up in the Dallas area and told Paper, “I moved from Cincinnati, Ohio.” Dazed reported that by 17 she was living in Los Angeles.
Looking back in the same Interview conversation, Blackwell picked a later age as her most important one: “the age that I feel made me who I am right now was 22.”
As of November 2026, Quenlin Blackwell is 25, with a decade of public work behind her that began on Vine in her early teens. Her next birthday, her 26th, falls on January 17, 2027.
Conclusion
Quenlin Blackwell is 25. The dated coverage supports a birth date of January 17, 2001. That covers Entertainment Tonight calling her 19 in October 2020, Dazed calling her 22 in 2023, and three 2025 outlets calling her 24. Her own comment in January 2025 that her birthday was “in four days” also fits that date.
The answer changes on January 17, 2027, when she turns 26. Until then, any source that gives a different age is probably out of date or unsupported. A page that says 24 most likely ran in 2025, before her last birthday. Sites that list 1997 or 1999 as her birth year have no dated reporting to back them up.
If you find an age that doesn’t match, look at when the page was published. Then count from January 17, 2001 to that date. If the numbers match, the page was correct when it was written.
