Kathryn Kirk, whose maiden name is Smith, is married to Robert W. Kirk, an architect. Fox News still described them as husband and wife in September 2026. They have two children, Charlie and Mary. Charlie was born on Oct. 14, 1993, in Arlington Heights, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. That birthplace is the documented link between the Kirk family and Arlington Heights.
Her working life is less well documented. Charlie Kirk’s Wikipedia biography, which cites The New York Times, describes her as a former trader at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange who later worked as a mental health counselor. Some copycat profiles name the Chicago Board of Trade instead, but the better-sourced accounts don’t support that version. A few early articles also got her first name wrong.
